This Privacy Policy applies to the Scentique mobile application (hereby referred to as the “Application”), created by naniv2615 (hereby referred to as the “Service Provider”) as an Ad Supported service. The Application is provided “AS IS”.

Information Collection and Use

The Application may collect limited, non-personal information automatically, including:

• Device Internet Protocol (IP) address
• App usage statistics such as pages visited and time spent
• Operating system and device type
• When you subscribe, your email address is shared with Razorpay (our payment processor) to pre-fill the payment form. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to data they collect.

The Application does not collect precise location data.

Camera Access and Image Processing

The Application requires access to your device’s camera to allow you to capture images of fragrances. These images are used solely to analyze fragrance details and suggest suitable occasions and insights.

• Clothing photos may be processed by rembg to isolate the clothing item. Photos are not retained by these services beyond the processing request.
• Captured images are securely sent to Google Gemini AI services.
• Images are processed only to generate the requested response.
• Images are not intercepted, stored, reused, or shared for any other purpose.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage

Scentique uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to identify fragrances and provide contextual recommendations. AI processing occurs only when initiated by the user and strictly for delivering requested features.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider does not collect, store, or retain user-submitted content such as images.

The Service Provider acts solely as a technical mediator between the Application and third-party AI services. All image data is processed transiently and discarded immediately after the requested response is generated.

No personal data is stored on the Service Provider’s servers beyond what is technically required to operate the Application.

Children’s Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If such data is discovered, it will be promptly deleted.

Security

The Service Provider employs reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect data processed by the Application.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Application indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
